    We require a large number of qualified Speedtronic Controls Engineer – Mark V, VI, and VIe for various short and medium term assignments worldwide. All candidates must have a minimum of 4 years post qualification experience on installation, commissioning and start-up of gas turbines in both Oil & Gas and Power plants. They should be familiar with working on compressors, and speak fluent English. Previous experience and training with General Electric is a beneficial but not essential for the position.

    Shanahan Engineering is looking for a Turnover Package (TOP) Coordinator to work with GE at the CVO project in Argentina. The successful candidate must be experienced in TOP management with a preferred QA/QC background. The candidate must also have the ability to speak and read Spanish, and English.

     Purpose

    The purpose of this position is to deliver the project KPI’s for Delivery, Quality, Safety, Cost and Customer Satisfaction through the effective management of the project Turn Over Pack (TOP) to customer acceptance and interfacing with the Commissioning Manager to ensure all project requirements are met.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Provision of both management and technical leadership to turnover of the documentation relating to the scope of work in compliance with the project requirements to achieve handover to the customer.
    • To monitor, track and collate all documentation of the completed work in accordance with the Program / schedule.
    • Identify shortcomings to the Commissioning Manager/Project Manager if it is identified that commissioning activities are progressing past a gate when associated documentation has not been received.
      • Provide the leadership of high-level systems expertise and lead advanced process control techniques for process optimization.
      • To comply with the existing site TOP Process and Procedures, whilst offering advice and recommendations to the customer by identifying areas for improvement and optimisation.
      • To create the TOP Folders, in the agreed format and to ensure the TOP Folders are populated with fully completed and signed off checks sheets, procedures, evidence sheets and certificates as applicable. This shall be done in line with the commissioning schedule and in such time so as to meet the Handover Date to the customer.
    • To liaise with the Commissioning Manager and all Leads and System Owners to ensure handover of all completed and signed off documents associated with the commissioning of the scope of work.
    • To attend and actively participate in the project daily and weekly commissioning meetings.
    • Understand all project related permits and works to identify any actions which may produce a violation of those permits.
    • Support the Commissioning Manager in enforcement of contract terms & Conditions through interactions with contract executives and site supervisor.
    • Support the Commissioning Manager evaluating project performance and in managing change.
    • Provide detailed information to the commissioning manager for the preparation of the site startup portion of the Monthly Project Execution Report.
    • Prepare a Project Daily Report to the commissioning manager as required.
    • Maintains a daily log of site significant activities.
    • Actively support and partake in the promotion of the Project Health, Safety, Security and Environmental requirements.
    • Monitor all commissioning activities via document handover targets to ensure schedules are achieved.
    • Facilitate the team and process owners in defining corrective and preventive actions to prevent compliance failures and escapes and improve overall compliance
    • Other duties as assigned by the Commissioning Manager.

    Site EHS Manager at a project in Argentina.. Must be registered with the Colegio de Ingenerios Especialistas de la Provincia de Santa Fe.

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    1.  Maintain in-depth knowledge of existing and proposed environmental health and safety local regulation.
    2. Implement and execute EHS programs, processes to attain full compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
    3. Maintain site-specific EHS program and plans in accordance with state and federal regulations and company expectations.
    4. Provide leadership to site staff, employees and EHS committees that will continue to drive a strong EHS culture.
    5. Drive EHS compliance through audits, process / equipment review and proactive risk elimination and track corrective actions to closure.
    6. Coordinate and conduct EHS training for employees and visitors as needed.
    7. Conduct incident / accident investigations and develop corrective & preventive action plans.
    8. Maintain EHS expertise to provide technical and regulatory support to construction teams.
    9. Coordinate EHS efforts among external and contractors who come to site and collaborate with the shared EHS as needed.
    10.  Compile periodic reports to HQ, work cooperatively with EHS HQ on various simplification and risk reduction projects and initiatives.

     Qualification

    •  Bachelor degree in EHS – Must be able to registered at CIE (Colegio de Ingenieros de Santa Fe)
    •  Advanced level in English (reading, speaking, writing)
    •  Managing competencies- Need to manage relationship with client and contractors.
